• People Management
• Supervise direct reports and ensure productivity management expectations are met.
• Interview and evaluate applicants for open positions within area of responsibility.
• Responsible for employee engagement, department retention, and turnover.
• Perform on-site visits with field clinicians, ensure training and development of staff is complete.
• Complete mid-year and yearly evaluations on direct reports and manage corrective actions.
• Quality and Patient Safety
• Maintains clinical knowledge and skills by keeping current of trends, procedures and techniques.
• Review daily active patients to ensure all patients were scheduled and notes complete.
• Work in conjunction with the QA team to ensure accurate and timely SOCs and recerts.
• Accountable for compliance with regulatory and/or accreditation standards.
• Develop and conduct weekly team conferences to provide clinical education and patient review.
• Ensure patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes through HHCAHPS reports.
• Customer Service
• Serves as a communication resource between the agency, patients, physicians, and other entities.
• Ensures effective communication with other departments and team members.
• Serves as resource to perform any service recovery as necessary.
• Financial Management
• Works to ensure continuity of care and established productivity expectations are being met.
• Monitors the volume of patients daily to determine productivity management and the need for additional resources.
• Ensure Discharges are completed timely.
• Works to ensure cost control initiatives are being met.
• Review supplies to ensure cost savings and appropriateness.
• Strategic Growth
• Works regarding strategic planning and process improvement.
• Support the targeted growth budget.
• Recommends and implements any new programs or services for department.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key skills; Current RN license (Georgia or Compact State)
• Current BLS certification
• Valid Georgia Driver's License and Private Vehicle Insurance
• Minimum 1 year of successful supervisory/management and Homecare Experience Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Licensure/Certification:
• Current RN License in the State of Georgia or Multi-State Compact.
• Current BLS certification upon hire.
• Valid Georgia Driver's License and Private Vehicle Insurance.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in a Medical/Surgical clinical setting Required.
• Minimum 1 year of successful supervisory/management and Homecare Experience Required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and relationship building.
• Knowledge of the home health care environment and leadership skills for implementing and managing change.
• Ability to use systems thinking and inspire and coach others to be successful.
• Business skills to manage human and material resources.
• Knowledge of risk management and various accreditation/regulations/licensing requirements.
• Fiscal responsibility and strategic planning abilities.
