Key Responsibilities;
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor condition changes.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and prescribed treatments.
- Assist with admissions, transfers, procedures, and discharges.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge care.
- Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
- Participate in quality improvement and unit-based initiatives.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (State or Compact).
- Minimum 1 year of acute care or specialty nursing experience.
- BLS certification required.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- At least 1 year of recent acute care or specialty nursing experience.
- BLS (Basic Life Support).
- ACLS or specialty certifications (preferred)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience in hospital or specialty unit settings.
- Familiarity with EMR systems.
