Key Responsibilities:
- Shift: Day Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)•
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
- Perform high-quality cardiac ultrasound procedures according to protocol
- Start IVs and obtain EKG tracings as needed
- Frame clinical questions and expand exams as necessary
- Prepare equipment and position patients for optimal imaging
- Review images and report preliminary findings to physicians
- Communicate with patients using AIDET to ensure comfort
- Maintain equipment and work area to meet quality standards
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key skills: Graduate of an Accredited Program OR 2 years of work experience above minimum qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer•
- Proficiency in starting IVs and readying EKG tracings
- BLS certification (within 30 days of hire)
- Must obtain RCS (CCI) or RDCS (ARDMS) within 6 months of hire
- Graduate of Accredited Program OR 2 years work experience above minimum
- Minimum 2 years of cardiac sonography experience required•
- BLS within 30 days of hire
- RCS (CCI) or RDCS (ARDMS) within 6 months of hire
