Key Responsibilities:
- Call Requirement: Weekends: 5:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekdays: 5:30 PM – 6:30 AM
- Work Shift & Schedule:-Shift: Day Shift (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
- Schedule: Full-time, 4/10-hour shifts
- Rotating weekends required
- Perform high-quality cardiac ultrasound procedures according to protocol
- Conduct transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms
- Evaluate patient history to frame clinical questions and expand exams as needed
- Prepare equipment and position patients for optimal imaging
- Review images and report preliminary findings to physicians
- Communicate with patients using AIDET to ensure comfort and understanding
- Participate in rotating weekend and weekday call schedule
- Maintain equipment and work area to meet quality standards
- Graduate of Accredited Program OR 2 years of work experience above minimum qualification
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer required
- RCS (CCI) or RDCS (ARDMS) required
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) through CCI, or RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) through ARDMS
- BLS certification (within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer
- Graduate of an Accredited Program or 2 years of work experience above minimum qualification
