Pay Range: $40 - $50/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage asbestos abatement projects from start to finish
- Coordinate with construction teams to ensure compliance with regulations
- Develop project plans and budgets for asbestos removal
- Utilize tools such as Planswift for construction estimating
- Negotiate prices with contractors and suppliers
- Conduct on-site visits to construction sites
- Oversee the safe removal and disposal of asbestos materials
- Apply for permits and handle all required documentation from start to finish of a project.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key Skills; Asbestos Abatement Supervisor
- Active Asbestos Abatement Supervisor Certification/License
- Planswift or Procure
- 3-5 years of Supervisor experience with Asbestos Abatement Projects
- Strong knowledge of construction site ops.
- This is a not a field job but the person must be able to go to the site and monitor how the project is shaping up.
- Must have experience start to finish with the projects
- Must be able to read blueprints, monitor manpower, budget planning and project estimations.
- This is an onsite job in the office where the person will be doing a lot of project planning and working on tools like Planswift, MS Office, & construction management software (Procore).
- Must have the relevant experience for atleast a year.
- Active Asbestos Abatement Supervisor Certification
- Must have Philadelphia projects experience as the rules for every state are different.
- Construction Estimating tools
- No preference regarding union or non-union.
- Previous experience in managing asbestos abatement projects
- Strong knowledge of construction site operations
- Proficiency in cost control and budget management
- Familiarity with Planswift for construction estimating
- Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and contractors
- Experience using construction management platforms
