What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Setup/Operator position at Pyc Manufacturing LLC?
We are seeking an experienced CNC Milling Operator / Setup Technician to oversee daily lathe operations, perform setups, and support the production team. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of leading by example in a precision manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Mills
- Lead and support operators during daily production
- Perform first-piece inspections and ensure part quality meets specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions
- Adjust offsets, tooling, as required
- Coordinate tooling, fixtures, and setup documentation
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and production standards
- Work closely with engineering and quality teams to improve processes
- Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
