What You’ll Do
- Manage Project Variety: Execute field surveys for a diverse portfolio, ranging from individual residential sites and complex subdivisions to major regional industrial contracts.
- Regional Field Leadership: Conduct precise site visits across our four-state service area using advanced equipment (Leica Total Stations, GPS).
- Lead Commercial & Residential Staking: Take the lead on high-visibility sites, ensuring precision from the first boundary line of a subdivision to the final slab of a distribution center.
- Craft Detailed Deliverables: Create accurate survey reports, maps, and plans, translating complex field data into clear, usable information for our global and local clients.
- Collaborate & Research: Partner with engineers and project managers while reviewing existing documents to ensure 100% compliance with specific state regulations in PA, MD, VA, and WV.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven Experience: A track record in surveying, specifically within construction or land development.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in modern surveying equipment and software, including AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS.
- Regional Knowledge: Familiarity with surveying regulations and best practices across the Mid-Atlantic (PA, MD, VA, and WV).
- Mobility: A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various regional job sites.
- Credentials: A degree or certification in Surveying or Geomatics is preferred. PLS or LSIT status is a significant advantage.
