Structural Engineer Position
We are a growing structural engineering firm seeking qualified engineers.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Minimum B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited 4-year program.
Completion of structural engineering design classes preferred.
Candidates with a bachelor's degree must have at least 2 years of experience in structural design.
Candidates with a master's degree: some work experience or internships preferred.
Preference for candidates with up to 5 years of experience.
Firm Practice:
Our practice utilizes a variety of building materials and includes design of new buildings, renovations, and component design. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication with architects, other consultants, and contractors. We require individuals who collaborate well and contribute effectively in a team setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Model structures and create structural framing plans, sections, and details using Revit.
Perform structural analysis of projects using a variety of analysis software.
Communicate with clients and other consultants to coordinate structural design work for projects.
