Job Summary
SMART MOVE LOGISTICS INC is looking for a motivated and detail-driven Logistics Coordinator to support our fast-growing operations team. In this role, you’ll take the lead in organizing, scheduling, and tracking shipments to ensure every order is delivered accurately and on time. You’ll work closely with drivers, warehouse teams, and customers to keep our logistics process running smoothly while solving challenges as they arise. What You’ll Do
- Coordinate daily freight schedules, including shipment pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain clear communication with carriers, drivers, and clients to ensure on-time transportation.
- Prepare essential shipping documents such as bills of lading, labels, and invoices.
- Track shipments and provide timely delivery updates to customers.
- Troubleshoot delivery issues, delays, or reroutes with a positive, solutions-first mindset.
- Keep accurate records and tracking data within internal systems.
- Assist with logistics planning, route optimization, and overall operational efficiency.
- Work closely with warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure order accuracy and smooth workflow.
- Follow all company policies, safety standards, and compliance regulations.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in logistics, dispatching, or transportation coordination (preferred but not required).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organization and time-management abilities.
- Basic understanding of shipping software or tracking systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools.
- High school diploma required; college coursework or degree is a plus.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.50 per hour
