Putney Central School is hiring a full time paraeducator to join our special education team as a behavior support paraeducator. This position offers the opportunity to be a part of a highly collaborative team of teachers and a larger PreK-8 school rooted in whole-child education valuing academic excellence, play in early childhood and a commitment to the arts and various forms of expression.
Job Description:
Provide daily in-class support in accordance with a students individualized program or behavior support plan
Coordinate with other classroom staff, school counselor, student success coordinator
Participate in weekly team meetings across grade levels
Work with students of all ages, from K-8 in a variety of settings
Supervise lunch and recess times
Attend field trips as needed
