What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraeducator position at Thetford Academy?
Thetford Academy is recruiting a full-time paraeducator to join its student support services department for the 2026-27 school year. Paraeducators collaborate with special educators in supporting students with individualized education plans to be successful in their courses and overall academic growth. Settings for the paraeducator position include general education classrooms and the TA Learning Center. Experience working with youth in a school, camp, or similar setting is a plus. Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. Strong candidates will identify with some or all of the following descriptors: patient, self-starter, solution-oriented, confident, flexible, adaptable and compassionate. This is a full-time staff position on a school-year calendar.
