- Process cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to cash handling procedures
- Manage customer relationships by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and offering tailored banking solutions
- Detect and prevent potential fraud by monitoring transactions for suspicious activity and following established security protocols
- Assist customers with loan origination processes, including explaining options, completing applications, and processing loan documentation
- Maintain detailed records of all transactions using banking software and ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Performing end-of-day balancing and reporting discrepancies when necessary
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service within a banking or financial services environment is preferred
- Strong knowledge of banking products, financial regulations, and industry best practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively manage customer relationships
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations
- Ability to handle cash confidently, including cash drawer balancing and cash management procedures
- Knowledge of fraud prevention techniques and financial compliance standards is highly desirable
