Duties: Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES is seeking a cheerful, warm individual to substitute as Telephone Operator at the main reception desk on an as needed hourly basis. Job responsibilities include:Answering the main switchboard and providing assistance and direction as needed to all visitors and staff;Video monitor the front and back door;May provide clerical support to the Business Office and other departmentsQualifications: Graduation from HS or possession of a high school equivalency diploma. Prior clerical/receptionist experience preferred. Well-spoken and neat, professional appearance. Must possess a strong desire and willingness to promote a positive customer experience for all staff and visitors.Characteristics Desired: Successful candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude, superior inter-personal skills and a commitment to the PNW BOCES mission of service and innovation through partnership.
