Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the emergency department
- Provide immediate and effective interventions for patients with acute illnesses or injuries
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition promptly
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, procedures, and post-discharge care
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care activities
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Proven experience in emergency or critical care nursing preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
- Knowledge of emergency medical procedures and protocols
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, and holidays
