Job Duties

  • Assist surgical team with preparing room for surgery
  • Prepare equipment and sterile instruments
  • Maintain sterile field
  • Knowledge of surgical procedures
  • Knowledge of surgical specimen preparation
  • knowledge of instrument cleaning and sterilization
  • knowledge of sterile technique
  • knowledge of assembling sterile instruments trays
  • performs other duties as assigned
     
Qualifications:

Education Experience:  Technical School 
License/Certificate Required:    Yes
Age Requirement:    18

Job Requirements:


•    Valid CST Certificate 
•    BLS Certification
•    ASN degree from surgical technology
