Job Duties
- Assist surgical team with preparing room for surgery
- Prepare equipment and sterile instruments
- Maintain sterile field
- Knowledge of surgical procedures
- Knowledge of surgical specimen preparation
- knowledge of instrument cleaning and sterilization
- knowledge of sterile technique
- knowledge of assembling sterile instruments trays
- performs other duties as assigned
Education Experience: Technical School
License/Certificate Required: Yes
Age Requirement: 18
Job Requirements:
• Valid CST Certificate
• BLS Certification
• ASN degree from surgical technology
