Description

Putnam County Hospital is looking for a patient and team-focused, experienced CNA to provide direct patient care on our ICU and Med-Surg units.

Responsibilities include: assist patient with ADL’s, provide daily hygienic care, obtain vital signs, and assist the nursing staff as requested. 

CNA’s are supportive and complimentary to nursing practice and the performance of their tasks are essential to patient care for all age groups.

 

Requirements: 

Successful completion of an approved nursing assistant course         

Current CPR/BLS certification 

Previous experience as a nursing assistant

Patient and team-focused

May require lifting over 40#
