Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a national accounts strategy aligned with Purvis’s growth objectives.
- Identify new opportunities with large, multi-location customers across industries.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary executive contact for national accounts, building trusted partnerships.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and service-level commitments.
- Sales & Growth
- Drive revenue growth through expansion of existing accounts and acquisition of new national customers.
- Collaborate with regional sales leaders to ensure consistent execution across territories.
- Operational Excellence
- Partner with supply chain, operations, and product teams to deliver seamless service to national accounts.
- Monitor account performance metrics and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of national account managers.
- Foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience, with at least 5 years managing national or key accounts.
- Proven track record of negotiating and closing large, complex contracts.
- Strong knowledge of industrial distribution, manufacturing, or related sectors.
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and executive presentation skills.
- Ability to travel nationally as required.
