Overview
We are seeking a driven Territory Manager to join a leading wholesale distributor of HVACR equipment, parts, and supplies. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a well-established book of business while also building new relationships across residential, light commercial, refrigeration, and facilities maintenance contractors.
This role is ideal for a motivated professional with outside sales experience who thrives on both farming existing accounts and hunting new opportunities. What You’ll Do
- Manage a book of business worth $750K annually, with accounts already spending consistently.
- Own and develop no more than 30 active accounts, engaging with them on a monthly basis.
- Build strong relationships with owners, GMs, installation managers, and sales managers to uncover opportunities.
- Prospect a small but focused hunt list (approx. 5 target accounts) to ensure growth and stability.
- Grow your territory by $700K in new business annually (with ramp-up support).
- Collaborate with fellow Territory Managers for onboarding and ongoing coaching.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of outside sales or account management experience (client-facing).
- Strong relationship-building skills and ability to influence decision-makers.
- Resilient, hardworking, and highly coachable with a “figure it out” mentality.
- Proficiency with Excel and basic reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required. Collegiate athletics or proven competitive background a plus.
