About The Opportunity
The Staff Accountant will support management of the company’s daily cash position, forecasting needs, and banking needs. This position offers the opportunity to strengthen an understanding for cash management and financial risk mitigation, with a team dedicated to fostering professional growth. The Staff Accountant will also support the internal audit function through potential testing of controls and/or supporting the implementation of controls related to cash and treasury activities.
Location: Thomasville, GA
This role must be onsite at least 5 days/week.

Responsibilities
- Monitor daily cash positions
- Manage short-term liquidity needs
- Assist with cash forecasting, ensuring sufficient liquidity across all entities
- Support the execution of wire transfers, intercompany funding, and banking transactions
- Reconciliation of A/R and A/P subledger accounts
- Assist in preparation of treasury reports, including cash flow and debt reports
- Support internal audit activities by providing treasury-related data and documentation
- Participate in internal control reviews related to treasury functions
- Assist in implementing improvements to treasury policies and procedures
- Collaborate with internal audit team to identify and remediate control gaps
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time bases without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
- Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.
- 6 months - 2yrs experience accounting experience
- Aerospace and/or manufacturing experience
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and propose informed decisions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products
- Detailed oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment requiring you to pivot and adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
- Personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses and safety shoes) is required on the shop floor
- Occasional weekend and evening work may be required to accommodate priorities, deadlines, and schedules.
