Role: Quality Engineer
Duration: 10 Months contract (with possible extension)
Location: Whiteland, IN
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain
Required Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
- Physical Requirements: Occasionally lift 32 lbs and support projects involving extensive walking or standing
- Communication: Strong email and phone skills are essential for interacting with suppliers and vendors
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Quality, within a manufacturing, supply chain, or warehousing environment

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Tracking and reporting on Defects Per Million Opportunities (DPMO)
- Ensures accountability, customer focus, advanced product quality planning (APQP), and statistical foundations.
- Managing the Customer Quality Scorecard
- Driving problem-solving and corrective actions with the 3PL partner for quality issues
- Leading containment activities for customer complaints
- Collaborating with supplier quality and central quality teams
- Facilitating continuous improvement and Six Sigma projects to reduce defects
- Leading audits of processes and quality systems
