Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis
- Work closely with eCommerce and Marketing business partners to ensure correct and timely reporting on business performance.
- Evaluate financial performance, identify trends, and help assess the financial health of the eCommerce and Marketing organizations.
- Develop and maintain financial models and projections to provide continued insight into departments’ financial performance.
- Own and manage monthly OpEx reporting for the eCommerce and Marketing departments, tracking actuals vs. budget and forecasts with clear variance analysis.
- Prepare polished executive reporting packages for executive and cross-functional stakeholders, translating financial data into clear, actionable narratives.
- Assist with G&A OpEx reporting and analysis on an as-needed basis, supporting the broader Finance team during month-end close, forecast, and budget cycles.
- Collaborate with eCommerce and Marketing department business owners to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts. Assist with G&A opex budgeting and forecasting as required.
- Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide recommendations to optimize resource allocation.
- Review financial monthly forecasts and assist the eCommerce and Marketing teams in preparing future monthly forecasts, as well as G&A as required.
- Prepare and present financial reports, performance metrics, and analysis to key stakeholders within the eCommerce and Marketing departments.
- Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly Board level reporting packages as necessary.
- Collaborate with eCommerce and Marketing teams regularly to provide business analysis and decision support.
- Work closely with budget owners to ensure accurate financial reporting during month-end close process.
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of FP&A or similar experience. Ecommerce industry experience highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Proficiency in financial modelling.
- Ability to build executive-ready presentations that communicate financial insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with complex financial data.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to present findings and recommendations to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint.
- Prior experience with NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, and/or other business intelligence and reporting tools is a plus, but not required.
