Job Description:
- Design and analyze mechanical and composite product structures.
- Create 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks.
- Perform GD&T, tolerance stack-up, DFMEA, and FEA.
- Evaluate sheet metal, plastics, castings, and material selection.
- Conduct product testing, analyze failures, and validate design performance.
- Develop test procedures and recommend design improvements.
- Support cost reduction and value engineering initiatives.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
- Experience in product design and manufacturing.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, PDM, GD&T, and FEA.
- Knowledge of metal and polymer materials and manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical, testing, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage projects independently.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
