Schedule:
- Day shift, 5x8
- Hours: 6:15 AM to 2:45 PM
- 13-week assignment
- Schedule may vary based on department needs
Unit Details:
- Cardiovascular Operating Room CVOR
- Surgical services environment
- High-acuity procedural setting
- Collaborative interdisciplinary surgical team
Responsibilities:
- Assist with cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical field
- Manage surgical instruments and equipment
- Collaborate with surgeons and OR staff during procedures
- Monitor and support patient safety during procedures
- Maintain compliance with safety and infection control standards
Requirements:
- Active surgical technologist certification or equivalent required
- Minimum clinical experience required in CVOR or surgical services
- BLS certification required
- Additional certifications may be required depending on facility
- Prior travel experience preferred but not required
- Strong cardiovascular surgical and technical skills required
