Hardscape & Masonry Technician – Pavers, Landscaping & Stonework

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hardscape & Masonry Technician specializing in Pavers, Landscaping, and Stonework to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities

• Install pavers, stonework, retaining walls, patios, walkways, and other hardscape features according to project plans and specifications
• Perform masonry work, including brick, block, stone, and concrete installations
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure precise execution of masonry and landscaping projects
• Operate power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently during installation processes
• Prepare surfaces by grading, excavating, and setting forms to ensure proper foundation for stone and paver installation
• Collaborate with project managers, landscape architects, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and specifications
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and construction site regulations to maintain a safe working environment at all times
• Conduct quality inspections of completed work to ensure durability, aesthetic appeal, and compliance with industry standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in hardscape construction, masonry work, or related outdoor construction projects
• Familiarity with building materials such as pavers, natural stone, concrete blocks, and landscaping elements
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation relevant to masonry and landscaping tasks
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction sites and outdoor work environments
• Experience with construction management software or Bluebeam is a plus but not required
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Strong physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Additional skills such as plumbing, electrical experience, roofing, or carpentry are advantageous but not mandatory
