Duties
- Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to maintain healthy turf.
- Use hand tools and power tools to install and repair landscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and garden beds.
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities like pruning, tree trimming, planting flowers, shrubs, and trees to promote growth and aesthetic appeal.
- Operate equipment such as excavators and snow plows safely in for site preparation and seasonal clean-up.
- Provide tree care services including planting, trimming, removal, and health assessments to preserve safety and beauty.
- Assist with construction projects involving hardscape features or garden structures while adhering to safety standards.
Experience
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and tools.
- Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance or gardening preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction machinery is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions with stamina and attention to safety standards.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients on project needs.
