Job Summary Description:
The Accounts Payable Manager, under the direction of the Director of Accounting, will be responsible for overseeing a team of AP Associates who are processing accounts payable invoices for business units and will also provide accounting support as required with finance related projects.
Essential Job Accountabilities:
- Vendor set up and maintenance
- Invoice approvals for corporate expenses
- Expense point approvals for all AP P-card transactions
- Acumatica User set up and workflow set up and maintenance
- Work with CFO and Treasury on check runs
- Sends out Wires, ACHs, and cuts checks
- AMEX Admin
- Annual Report Renewals
- Creates Purchase Orders in Acumatica
- Yearly 1099 Processing
- Update balance sheet
- Send out waiting list twice per week
- Clear wires and direct debits from Acumatica
- Supervises AP Associates with their daily tasks
- Vendor Master (enter new vendors, update current vendor information)
- Other duties as assigned
Education:
- Technical school preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in vehicle and /or equipment maintenance and repair.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Good communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to work outside normal working hours.
- Ability to travel is a MUST
Additional Requirements/Skills:

- Ability and willingness to abide by PURIS’s Code of Conduct on a daily basis
- Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
