Job Summary
I’m looking for a commercial cleaner for a new facility in Dearborn Michigan to start immediately. The shift is from midnight until 4 AM four hours a night seven days a week.28 hours a week total it pays $20 an hour. I need four people for this shift! Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of commercial spaces during night hours, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other janitorial tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Handle chemical agents safely by following proper handling procedures and safety protocols to prevent accidents or contamination.
- Conduct floor care activities including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain a professional appearance.
- Assist with custodial tasks such as trash removal, sanitation of surfaces, and restocking supplies to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Follow safety guidelines during heavy lifting and manual handling tasks to prevent injuries and promote safe work practices.
- Support facilities maintenance activities as needed, including minor repairs or reporting issues requiring specialized attention.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles with knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
- Familiarity with chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation standards.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed cleaning checklists and safety protocols.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when necessary.
- Basic understanding of facilities maintenance tasks such as floor buffing, custodial care, and general upkeep.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks throughout the shift.
