Job Summary 

The Tunnel Operator is responsible for operating and loading the tunnel washer with proper linen weights, putting in correct formulas, unloading dryers and watching for any alarms. Work with computer-controlled equipment or more mechanically based machines to make sure they are set up properly, working well, and producing quality product. Also making sure their machines are working at full capacity, as per production goals, are stocked with needed materials, well-maintained and perform periodic checks on output. Generate production and efficiency report on a daily basis 

Experience Requirements

Production and processing (Preferably Laundry). 

Safety and security knowledgeable  

Can work under minimum supervision 

Basic computer knowledge

Personal Characteristics

Analytical thinking, stress tolerant, self-control, self-motivated and attention to details.

Skill and Knowledge Requirements

1.Operation and control (Any type of industrial equipment).

2.Safety and security.

3.Mathematics.

4.Computer basic skills.

Job Responsibilities and Tasks

1.Set up machines at the beginning of shift to ensure proper working order.

2.Ensure that machines are producing quality products by managing periodic checks on output.

3.Perform basic troubleshooting as needed.

4.Take wet, clean items and dry as directed.

5.Operate conventional tunnel system, driers and shuttles
