Role Summary

The Construction Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules for complex public-sector transportation and transit projects. The role supports project managers and construction teams by monitoring progress, identifying risks, and providing schedule analysis to ensure timely project delivery.


Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain CPM schedules for design and construction activities

Review and analyze contractor baseline and update schedules

Perform schedule risk analysis, delay analysis, and time impact analysis

Monitor progress against planned activities and milestones

Support earned value management (EVM) and performance reporting

Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and field teams

Validate schedules for compliance with contract requirements

Support change order and claim schedule analysis

Prepare schedule narratives and progress reports for public agencies

Participate in project meetings and provide schedule briefings

Maintain schedule documentation and audit-ready records


Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

7 years of construction scheduling or project controls experience

Strong experience with public infrastructure projects

Knowledge of construction sequencing for civil, rail, and systems work

Strong analytical and communication skills


Preferred Qualifications

Experience on rail, transit, or transportation mega-projects

Familiarity with on-call / MATOC / IDIQ environments

Experience supporting PM/CM teams and public agencies
