We here at Pure Psychiatry of Michigan, PLLC are looking for Full Time Medical Office Assistants to join our growing team. This Pure Psychiatry of Michigan practice will be based within Insight Health Systems, and this position will be focused in supporting the psychiatric medication management services of our practice that will be based there in the very near future. Our Medical Office Assistants are responsible for patient scheduling, check-in, check-out, co-pay collection, insurance verification, and attending to any patient call to the clinic. Medical Office Assistant Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Adhere to and abide by all HIPAA policies
- Show ability to be adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment
- Careful and comprehensive approach to patient care
- Team player; be able to multi-task and help fellow colleagues when applicable
- Strong customer service skills and effective communicator
- Dependable, punctual, deliberate with work ethic
Desired Medical Office Experience:
- Verifying insurance eligibility
- Prior authorizations
- Co-pay collection and Understanding of deductibles
Position Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- 1 year minimum experience working in medical office setting (preferred)
- Some level of experience with Electronic Medical Records and Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
