What will you do?
- Process full-cycle payroll for employees across multiple U.S. states and Canada using Dayforce
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and provincial payroll laws and tax regulations
- Maintain and audit payroll data, including wages, deductions, and benefits
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve issues proactively
- Partner closely with HR on employee changes (hires, terminations, compensation updates)
- Support payroll tax filings, reporting, and year-end processes (W-2s, T4s, etc.)
- Validate and manage timekeeping data within Dayforce
- Serve as a go-to resource for payroll-related questions across multiple jurisdictions
- Assist with audits and maintain accurate payroll documentation
- Process wage garnishments, child support orders and levies
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and optimize system usage
- Experience managing payroll in a multi-state environment
- Exposure to or experience with Canadian payroll
- Hands-on experience with Dayforce payroll system
- Strong understanding of payroll compliance and tax regulations
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Hybrid work schedule (Tues-Thurs in office)

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5 years of payroll experience, including multi-state payroll
- Dayforce experience preferred
- Canadian payroll experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Excel and payroll reporting
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality
