HR Recruiting Specialist
We are seeking a dynamic and people-focused HR professional to join our Pure Fishing Plano team. What You Will Do
In this role, you will be a key driver of our talent strategy while supporting essential HR operations, with a strong emphasis on recruitment and coworker experience. Approximately 75% of your time will be dedicated to managing the full recruitment lifecycle. This includes partnering closely with hiring managers to lead intake meetings, posting roles, sourcing top talent, screening and interviewing candidates, and extending offers. You will also play an integral role in onboarding by coordinating orientation, scheduling key activities, and conducting 30/60/90-day follow-ups to ensure new hires feel supported and set up for success.
The remaining 25% of your time will focus on maintaining HRIS data accuracy through timely updates and audits, as well as supporting coworker engagement initiatives that strengthen our culture, enhance the overall coworker experience, and drive retention.

Position Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, including intake meetings, job postings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer delivery to meet staffing needs.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to develop and implement innovative talent acquisition strategies.
- Assist employees with health and welfare benefit plans, including providing guidance on enrollment.
- Maintain coworker personnel files and ensure accurate, organized recordkeeping. Support the annual open enrollment process for all employees.
- Plan and manage organizational events, including coworker recognition and appreciation initiatives.
- Coordinate pre-employment processes such as reference checks, background screenings, and drug testing; prepare workspaces and lead onboarding efforts with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of coworker records and HR information.
- Contribute to team and departmental goals, objectives, and initiatives.
- Develop, generate, and analyze HR reports to support decision-making.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries in a professional and timely manner, both in person and via phone.
- Serve as a strong employee advocate, promoting a positive and inclusive company culture.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint; experience with HRIS systems (Dayforce preferred).
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or a related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of human resources experience with demonstrated success managing full-cycle recruiting, partnering with hiring managers, and sourcing candidates in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience improving or building recruitment processes.
- Experience with onboarding or early coworker lifecycle support.
- PHR certification preferred.
- Bilingual a PLUS
