The IT Software Testing Intern provides entry-level support to the Quality Assurance team while gaining hands-on experience with software testing, test automation, defect investigation, and quality assurance processes. Under the guidance of experienced QA and development professionals, the intern assists with creating test cases, executing manual and automated tests, documenting results, and supporting the software development lifecycle.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Software Testing & Quality Assurance Support
- Assist in creating and executing test cases to validate software functionality and business requirements.
- Develop and execute manual and automated test scripts under supervision.
- Assist in reproducing, investigating, and documenting software defects.
- Provide first-level support in identifying and escalating software issues.Collaboration & Issue Resolution
Collaboration & Issue Resolution
- Coordinate testing activities with developers, analysts, and internal stakeholders.
- Communicate testing progress, findings, and risks clearly to team members.
- Participate in planning discussions, testing cycles, and quality improvement efforts.
Documentation & Process Support
- Develop and maintain testing procedures, test documentation, and quality standards.
- Document defects, test results, and testing workflows.
Learning & Professional Development
- Learn software testing methodologies including functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and accountability in daily work.

Additional Requirements:
- Foundational understanding of software testing concepts and software development lifecycle.
- Exposure to test planning, functional testing, regression testing, or user acceptance testing preferred.
- Interest in pursuing a career in software quality assurance, software testing, or software development.
- Familiarity with scripting, automation tools, or testing frameworks preferred.
- Exposure to Artificial Intelligence concepts preferred.
