The Internal Audit Intern is responsible for assisting with audit preparation, documentation gathering, research, and file/account testing, conducting closed account letters and signature card review, and create, develop and use analytical spreadsheets and special projects as needed and deemed appropriate to the position. Duties and Responsibilities:
Audit Preparation & Testing Support
- Assist with audit preparation for Internal Audits, External Audits, and Regulatory Exams.
- Gather documentation, conduct research, and perform file and account testing.
- Support audit team members with organizing materials and maintaining accurate records.
Monthly Review Activities
- Conduct regular monthly activity items such as closed account letters and signature card reviews.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and maintained according to internal standards.
Special Projects
- Support special projects as needed and deemed appropriate to the position.
- Assist with creating, developing, and utilizing analytical spreadsheets to support audit initiatives.

- Basic knowledge of internal controls.
- Familiarity with accounting concepts and theory.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
