As a full-time OTR and Commerical Service Tech, your mission is to provide exceptional value by addressing the tire needs of every customer the Purcell Way; in a safe, approved manner using the proper tools and techniques both on-site and on service calls.

What You Need:

• 1 year OTR tire experience required

• Valid driver’s license required

• 3-year Clean MVR with No DUIs

• Ability to take and pass a drug and background screening**

• Ability to lift a minimum of seventy-five (75) pounds

• Ability to bend knees & flexible enough to work in awkward positions

What You’ll Do:

• Commit to continual improvement, training & professional growth

• Operate hydraulic boom arm

• Perform OTR and commercial tire and wheel replacements and installations

• Dismount wheels using lug wrenches and other hand and power tools

• Repair, balance, rotate, mount, and replacement of tires/wheels

• Services calls as scheduled by the service manager

• Responsible for keeping service vehicle fully stocked

• Preventative maintenance of the service vehicle – daily inspection, oil changes, etc.

• Perform basic facility maintenance, shop clean up and organization

• Look for opportunities to improve our products & services

• Other essential and non-essential duties as assigned by management

*Outside Service Technicians are compensated through a combination of hourly pay, daytime service commission, and night/weekend service commission. The listed range represents an estimated total of all compensation sources, listed as an hourly rate. Variables include relevant experience, certifications, geographic location, and willingness to participate in after-hours/on-call programs.
