Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance activities including mowing, trimming, planting, and watering to keep outdoor areas pristine.
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers, tractors, excavtor, and skid steer safely and efficiently.
- Perform landscape installation tasks like planting trees, shrubs, and installing mulch or soil amendments.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
Qualifications
- Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping, or groundskeeping is required; enthusiasm for outdoor environments is essential.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of lawn care techniques, tree trimming practices, and plowing is required
- Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence during all tasks to ensure a secure working environment.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions; ability to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and operate equipment comfortably.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills and supporting team goals.
