Responsibilities
- Assist in landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and watering to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, trimmers, power tools, irrigation systems, and other landscaping machinery safely and efficiently
- Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to ensure proper care and pest management
- Support tree care activities such as trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and safety
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers or drip lines for optimal watering efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents during outdoor work or equipment operation
- Perform general groundskeeping duties including debris removal, soil preparation, fertilization, and pest control measures
Experience
- Prior outdoor work experience or background in landscaping or grounds maintenance is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Basic mechanical knowledge related to power tools and landscaping equipment operation is advantageous
- Familiarity with plant identification, horticulture principles, and pesticide management enhances your effectiveness in this role
