Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team in the food industry. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, efficiently handle cash and credit transactions, and contribute to a positive dining experience.
Duties:
- Welcome and greet guests in a prompt and courteous manner, taking the time to ensure their needs are met.
- Manage the cash register and operate the POS system accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and organized manner.
- Take orders and handle cash transactions, including making change and operating the cash register.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, making recommendations, and addressing concerns in a professional and friendly manner.
- Upsell and suggest additional items to enhance the guest experience.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
- Provide help to guests as needed, ensuring they have a pleasant dining experience.
Requirements:
- No prior experience is needed.
- Basic math skills and experience with cash handling and operating a cash register.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
- Ability to upsell and suggest additional items to enhance the guest experience.
- Familiarity with POS systems and experience with food industry technology.
- Ability to work as part of a team and provide help to colleagues when needed.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
