Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for dogs in our care. You will interact with pets throughout the day, ensuring their well-being and happiness while also maintaining cleanliness and organization within the facility. Ideal candidates will have experience in animal care and a strong commitment to customer service.
Our business hours are 7 AM to 7 PM Monday - Friday.
Duties
- Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime to ensure safety and socialization.
- Maintain cleanliness of the daycare facility play areas and equipment.
- Monitor the health and behavior of all dogs in care, reporting any concerns to management.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with management
- Must be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting and working with dogs of all sizes throughout the day.
Qualifications
- Experience in dog handling or animal care is preferred; kennel experience is a plus.
- Background in veterinary assistance or veterinary technician roles is highly desirable.
- Skills in pet grooming is preferred.
- Strong understanding of animal behavior.
- Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with pet owners.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being is essential for success in this role.
