Job Summary
The Child Care Provider is responsible for creating a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children while their parents utilize the fitness facility. This role includes supervising play, maintaining a clean and organized childcare area, and ensuring all club policies and safety procedures are followed. The ideal candidate is attentive, caring, and able to manage multiple children while promoting a positive experience for families.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor children to ensure a safe and secure environment at all times.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, play, and conversation.
- Greet parents and children warmly and maintain a positive, professional atmosphere.
- Follow all club policies, safety guidelines, and emergency procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare area, including sanitizing toys and equipment.
- Communicate any concerns, incidents, or behavior issues to parents and management promptly.
- Ensure proper check-in and check-out procedures for all children.
- Report any maintenance or safety hazards to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in daycare, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly preferred
- Experience caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children
- Basic understanding of child safety and age-appropriate behavior management
- Ability to stand, move, and interact with children for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with children, parents, and team members
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
