We are seeking a Senior Account Manager with strong experience in website operations, CMS platforms, digital project delivery and stakeholder management.
This role will act as the primary day-to-day partner, overseeing website updates, digital initiatives, development projects and ongoing operational activities across a portfolio of brand websites.
You will serve as the bridge between client stakeholders, development teams, QA resources, content agencies, and internal teams, ensuring that digital projects are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with established governance and compliance processes.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys bringing structure, clarity, and accountability to complex digital programmes while maintaining strong client relationships.
What You'll Do
Account Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for client stakeholders across Brand, Communications, Digital and IT teams.
- Build trusted relationships and provide proactive support across multiple workstreams.
- Translate business requirements into actionable briefs, timelines, and delivery plans.
- Lead project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications.
- Ensure transparency, accountability, and alignment across all activities.
Website & CMS Operations
- Manage ongoing content updates, website enhancements, and digital initiatives across multiple corporate and product websites.
- Coordinate publishing activities and ensure adherence to governance and approval processes.
- Work within CMS platforms, including WordPress or similar systems.
- Support content lifecycle management and digital operations activities.
Project Delivery & Technical Coordination
- Brief and coordinate development teams on website enhancements, bug fixes, integrations, and new functionality.
- Manage project plans, timelines, priorities, dependencies, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate internal teams, offshore development resources, QA specialists, and agency partners.
- Ensure development projects progress efficiently from briefing through deployment.
Quality Assurance & Governance
- Perform quality control reviews of website updates and digital deliverables prior to release.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and stakeholder approvals.
- Ensure websites remain accurate, compliant, accessible, and aligned with brand standards.
- Maintain project documentation, trackers, dashboards, and status reporting.
Agency & Vendor Management
- Coordinate activities across content, creative, and technical agency partners.
- Monitor delivery against agreed timelines and service levels.
- Escalate risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
- Drive continuous improvement in workflows and operational processes.
Who You Are
- Experienced digital account manager, technical account manager, or digital project manager with experience supporting website programmes.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced client-facing environment.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Confident working with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented, and accountable for delivery.
- Calm under pressure and able to bring structure to complex situations.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- 5 years of experience in digital account management, technical account management, website operations, or digital project delivery.
- Experience supporting pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, or regulated industry clients.
- Strong understanding of website delivery and digital production processes.
- Hands-on experience with CMS platforms
- Experience in briefing and coordinating development teams and external agencies.
- Strong quality assurance and testing experience.
- Experience managing project timelines, budgets, SLAs, and stakeholder communications.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, including reviewing, annotating, and managing documents for approval and compliance workflows.
Desirable
- Experience supporting global website ecosystems.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and digital governance frameworks.
- Experience working with offshore development teams.
- Familiarity with analytics and website performance reporting.
Location & Reporting
- United States (Remote)
- Preference for candidates working Eastern Time (ET) hours.
- Reports to the Global Account Lead (EU-based).
