Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Software Sales Representative role based in Atlanta, GA, with flexibility to work from home part of the time. The Software Sales Representative will prospect and qualify leads, schedule discovery calls, and conduct product demonstrations for prospective clients in the insurance and financial services sectors. In this role, the individual will manage a pipeline of opportunities, prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and close new business to meet or exceed sales targets. The position involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers, coordinating with marketing and product teams, and providing feedback on customer needs and market trends. The Software Sales Representative will also be responsible for accurate internal CRM data entry, regular forecasting, and participation in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated strength in Software Sales and Sales, ideally with SaaS or B2B technology solutions.
- Experience in Lead Generation, including prospecting, outbound outreach, and qualification of opportunities.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to explain complex software solutions clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Proven Account Management capabilities, including nurturing relationships, upselling, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales productivity platforms, and comfort working in a metrics-driven environment.
- Background in life insurance and annuities, financial services, or related industries is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting in Atlanta, GA, managing time and priorities independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
