Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe and effective patient care by utilizing the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. This role requires direct interaction with patients and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

• Provide direct patient care within the scope of nursing practice.


• Conduct thorough assessments and monitor patient conditions, including hemodynamic monitoring.


• Communicate effectively with physicians regarding changes in patient clinical conditions.


• Guide patient and family education, ensuring understanding of care plans and procedures.


• Supervise and direct the activities of other nursing personnel.


• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.


• Respond quickly and accurately to shifts in patient conditions and treatment responses.

• Current and valid state RN License.


• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.


• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.


• Minimum of one year of experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital, particularly in critical care settings.


• Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification is preferred.


• COVID-19 vaccination and boosters are preferred.

This position requires the ability to float between Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Telemetry units as needed. Candidates must be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing situations, and demonstrate strong clinical judgment.
