Job Responsibilities But Not Limited To
- Support the implementation of global FSQA programs and strategy aligned with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to cross-functional teams and global quality councils to drive continuous improvement and a proactive food safety culture.
- Ensure compliance with GFSI schemes (SQF, FSSC, BRCGS) and international regulations across regions including the US, Canada, Europe, and South Korea.
- Support supplier quality programs, including audits, certifications, specifications, and raw/finished material traceability.
- Maintain and update supply chain food safety systems, including HACCP/HARPC documentation and the Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP).
- Monitor regulatory intelligence and support liaison between headquarters, supply chain partners, customers, and regulatory authorities (including EU).
- Assist in implementing preventive controls, food fraud and defense programs, and support crisis management and product recall processes for imported products.
- Develop and deliver training on GMP, HACCP, FSMA, allergen control, and regional regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Legal teams during product development, launch, and international expansion.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Food Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of FSQA or quality/regulatory experience.
- Food safety certifications preferred (e.g., HACCP, PCQI, GFSI, SQF Practitioner).
- Familiary with regulatory requirements and GFSI schemes.
- Knowledge of global food regulations and third-party audit standards.
- Experience supporting food safety risk assessments and preventive control programs.
- Bilingual in Korean required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Up to 10% international travel required.
