About the Role
Pulmonary & Sleep Specialists of NEGA is seeking a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Front Office Medical Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, helping create a welcoming and positive experience while supporting the daily operations of our practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
- Verify patient information and maintain accurate records
- Collect payments and process transactions as needed
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems efficiently
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Support providers and team members with administrative tasks
- Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced medical environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous medical office, front desk, or customer service experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy office setting
- Proficiency with computers, EMR systems, and standard office software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional, friendly, and dependable demeanor
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply but are not required
