We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Restaurant Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. In this vibrant role, you'll create a positive and memorable dining experience by greeting guests with enthusiasm, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements. Your friendly demeanor and excellent communication skills will set the tone for an outstanding guest journey, ensuring smooth operations and guest satisfaction from arrival to departure. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic hospitality team committed to delivering exceptional service and is able to be combined with serving shifts, bartending shifts, food running shifts, and bussing shifts for those who want to maximize scheduled shifts in a week. This is also a great part-time summer job for high school and college students!

Duties
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival with a lively and professional attitude, making them feel instantly welcomed..
- Maintain a clean, organized host stand and waiting area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff and servers to relay guest needs and seating preferences promptly.
- Handle guest inquiries over the phone with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times or reservations.
- Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Support team members during busy periods by managing waitlists and coordinating seating assignments seamlessly.
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a lively setting.
- Knowledge of restaurant protocols including serving standards, guest services, phone etiquette, and hospitality best practices.
