The Opportunity:
Join Puig’s luxury beauty division as a Counter Manager for Christian Louboutin Beauté at Saks NYC. This is a dynamic leadership role where you will oversee the daily operations of the counter, lead a team of Beauty Advisors, and deliver exceptional client experiences that reflect the prestige of the brand. You will be responsible for driving sales, cultivating client relationships, and ensuring operational excellence in alignment with Puig’s values and standards.
What you’ll get to do:
Lead Sales Strategy & Execution
- Set and monitor individual and team sales goals, ensuring alignment with brand targets
- Drive pre-sell strategies and maximize performance during product launches and seasonal campaigns
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Deliver Exceptional Client Experience
- Provide personalized consultations and product recommendations using brand rituals and storytelling
- Build and maintain a loyal client base through proactive outreach and clienteling
- Ensure all client interactions reflect the luxury standards of Christian Louboutin Beauté
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, and coach Beauty Advisors to deliver high-performance results
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and motivating team culture
Operational Excellence
- Oversee inventory management, tester replenishment, and supply ordering
- Maintain accurate client records, selling tools, and reporting documentation
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and brand standards
Visual Merchandising & Brand Representation
- Ensure counter presentation aligns with Puig’s visual guidelines and Christian Louboutin’s luxury aesthetic
- Represent the brand during in-store events, trainings, and activations
- Uphold grooming standards and act as a brand ambassador
We’d love to meet you if you have:
- 5 years of experience in boutique or luxury retail management
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a luxury retail environment
- Strong understanding of luxury beauty and client service excellence
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail systems; additional language fluency is a plus
- Passion for Christian Louboutin and commitment to brand representation
- Adaptable, proactive, and driven to learn and grow
- Available for a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and occasional extended hours as needed.
Compensation:
As required by New York State’s salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected base salary for this position ranges from 75,000.00 - 85,000.00. Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
