Description
The Clinical Salon Receptionist acts as the first point of contact for salon guests via phone, email, or in person. The Hourly Rate of Pay is $22.80/Hour and this is a .70 FTE Position
In accordance with Colorado Revised Statutes 24-50-135, this position has been exempted from the State Personnel System.
Job Duties
Essential Job Functions
- Schedules and confirms appointments.
- Manages the salon's calendar.
- Answers phone calls and responds to client and perspective students’ inquiries.
- Maintains the cleanliness and organization of the waiting area and salon.
- Assists student stylists and other staff as needed.
- Processes payments and manages cash register
- Updates client records with current contact information, appointments and services offered
- Informs students of their client’s arrival.
Additional Functions
- Works independently with little supervision or as part of a team.
- Communicates effectively with students, colleagues, and others.
- Interacts professionally and respectfully with students, colleagues, and others.
- Assesses individual and department work processes and recommends improvements.
- Complies with State Fiscal Rules, State Board policies, System and College protocols, and departmental procedures.
- Obtains and maintains proficiency with required systems and equipment.
- Maintains confidentiality of student and employee information as required.
- Completes all required compliance training within the established timeline.
- Serves on committees and other groups as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
- At least one year of customer service experience.
- Knowledge of the beauty industry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Able to lift 15 pounds.
- Able to read and communicate in English.
- Mobility around campus.
Salary : $23
