This role is critical in driving innovation and efficiency within our transportation operations by gathering requirements, articulating product vision, and collaborating with stakeholders to design and implement solutions that enhance business processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to evaluate abstract business processes to recommend cost-saving and revenue-generating solutions.Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Articulate product vision and translate business needs into actionable technical solutions
- Evaluate abstract business processes and recommend improvements to optimize cost savings and increase revenue
- Partner with cross-functional teams to design and recommend computer systems that address business challenges and opportunities
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure system functionality aligns with business requirements
- Provide technical expertise by writing SQL queries to analyze data and support decision-making processes
- Maintain a basic understanding of object-oriented programming concepts to effectively communicate with development teams, though coding is not required
- Serve as a liaison between business units and IT teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle
- Create and deliver presentations to stakeholders, summarizing findings, recommendations, and project updates
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related analytical field or equivalent experience
- 3 years business systems analysis experience
- 3 years business experience planning, organizing, and managing all activities associated with delivering solutions in a large-scale distributed environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex business processes and recommend actionable solutions
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data
- Basic understanding of object-oriented programming concepts to facilitate collaboration with technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise transportation management systems or related software
- Experience performing data analysis by creating and executing queries, interpreting results, and communicating findings to both technical and business audiences
- Experience working as a Scrum Master within an Agile Scrum framework and applying it to product development and delivery
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for reporting and data visualization
- Experience working with SQL Server enterprise database management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Year End Bonus
As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.
