We specialize in working with Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) companies, particularly in the Food & Beverage, Fashion, and Beauty sectors. Our team secures high-impact media placements for clients through top-tier global outlets such as CBS, Fox News, Vogue, and Forbes.

At PFG, we amplify brands that are making a difference. Our focus is on meaningful visibility, measurable results, and long-term growth. We also operate Signal Raptor, a standalone software solution that enhances brand exposure and supports business scaling.

Role

The Videographer is responsible for capturing, directing, and editing high-quality visual content that tells the story of Publicity for Good. This role sits at the intersection of production and post-production, requiring a creative eye for Videography Direction during onsite shoots and a technical hand during the editing process. The goal is to produce persuasive social-first and PR-ready video and photo assets that maintain the professional aesthetic of PFG.

Responsibilities

  • Onsite Content Capture: Execute onsite video and photo shoots in the Nashville area, ensuring lighting, framing, and audio meet professional standards.
  • Videography Direction: Take the lead during shoots by directing subjects (clients or team members) to ensure natural, engaging performances and high-quality takes.
  • Editing & Post-Production: Use Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro/After Effects) for high-level editing and Canva for quick-turnaround social media graphics and short-form clips.
  • Pre-Production & Storyboarding: Assist in the creative planning phase by developing storyboards, shot lists, and visual concepts before production begins.
  • Asset Management: Organize, back up, and maintain a library of raw and edited footage for easy access by the PR and Marketing teams.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team to ensure all visual content aligns with the specific campaign goals and brand voice of our clients.

Results

  • Weekly Deliverables: Consistently deliver 3–5 hours of polished video assets per week.
  • High-Quality Asset Bank: Build a growing library of high-resolution "B-roll" and photography that the team can use for press releases and lookbooks.
  • Efficiency: Complete first-draft edits within requirements of a shoot to maintain a fast-paced content schedule.
  • Creative Alignment: Ensure content fulfills or exceeds the storyboards and brand guidelines.
  • Growth: Demonstrate an increasing ability to handle complex coordination tasks with multiple subjects.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in or near Nashville, TN and have reliable transportation for onsite shoots.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Canva. Experience with After Effects is a significant plus.
  • Direction Experience: Previous experience (academic or freelance) in directing subjects and managing the "look and feel" of a shoot.
  • Creative Portfolio: A reel or portfolio showcasing both videography and editing skills is mandatory.
  • Storyboarding: Ability to translate abstract ideas into a visual plan (storyboard/shot list).
  • Availability: Consistent commitment to 20 hours per week.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for directing talent and collaborating with the PFG team.
